I Have my Edward!!!

I have been watching the movie Twilight lately and I am so in love with the movie!!! I thought that I would absolutely hate it so I never watched in the theaters because I didn’t want to waste my money! Well I was wrong! I LOVED IT!!! Now don’t get me wrong there were a lot of cheesy parts, but the romance was awesome!!! The movie was not predictable at all, at least not to me!! For anyone who has not seen the movie, which you should, Edward is one of the two main characters in the movie. He is supposed to be portrayed as the most gorgeous man alive and you are just drawn to him by the way he smells, the way he talks, the way he looks, and everything about him. At least that is how they want you to react to him! Well, it is true you really do come to love his character. He feels like he needs to protect Bella (the other main character). Now Edward is a vampire that does not killhumans but  kills animals. I know that sounds stupid because that is what I thought at first, but just watch the movie and you will understand! Anyways, Edward has never wanted someoneelse’s blood so much in his life like he wants Bella’s. So they fall madly in love!!! Haha!!! Just watch the movie!

So I got to thinking while I was watching this movie and I was realizing how much I craved  that kind of love and protection from a man like Edward! A gorgeous man, who smells amazing , talks with a warm voice that draws you in, and i s just the most amazing man existing today!!! And as I thought of those traits and outward things in a man I thought of my Rocky! He has all those things and he protects me better than anyone could ever because he trusts in the Lord to take care of me! He always makes me feel safe when I am with him! He makes me feel like I am the only woman in the room when there are thousands. I am his one and only and he is mine! And the best part is that this is for real not a movie or a book! I don’t have to day dream about having this kind of love, I have it and it’s amazing! He is amazing! And he is not a vampire which really works out better! I couldn’t ask for a more amazing, a more Godly, awesome daddy to our beautiful baby girl, or a more gorgeous man if I tried! I have my Edward and his name is Rocky!

My little Lady Bug is growing up!!!

So, Averi just turned 8 months old on Oct. 3rd and she won’t obey and stop growing up!!! I have been begging her to stay this age forever, but she is not listening to me! No, as much as I would love for her to not grow up any more, I am so thankful that she is a very healthy, growing 8 month old! I just don’t know where the time is going!!! Well, new things have happened since she has been 7 months!! A little after she turned 7 months she got her first tooth and shortly after that another one popped through!! They have to be the cutest little teeth that I have ever seen!! Then at about 7 1/2 months old Averi started crawling!!! Yikes, crawling!! She is now everywhere!! As a matter of fact she definitely ate some air wick last night and we had to call poison control!!! She is fine though!! It was one of those unspoken ” Oh he is watching her, oh she is watching her” scenario’s. Needless to say the poison control number is now on our frig! It is amazing to think that in only 4 months she will be one!!! I just don’t like it! She is though in the most adorable stage!! Besides her new fit throwing and even then I try my best to cherish because it will only get worse I suppose! She really is just a sweetheart! She doesn’t cry much, is very easy going, and is so much fun to be around! I could just eat her up! I love that she picks at some tiny fuss on the ground with her thumb and pointer finger! I can just watch her do that for hours! She has such an innocents about her that you only get to hold onto as a child. She is just now understanding what happens when she bonks her head, “it hurts”. She is pulling herself up onto everything and standing up holding on, but every once in a while she goes tumbling down. She crawls to me when she wants me and calls out to me with the sweetest voice saying “mama”. Ah it kills me every time to hear her say “mama”! Who would have thought that word would mean so much to me when it comes from that sweet little face! I just can’t even love her enough! I let her watch baby Einstein now either in her bumbo or her new high chair and she loves it!! It’s so cute because as soon as she see’s the little Caterpillar come across the screen she starts kicking and making noise because she is so excited. Man I love that girl!!! Well, I guess she has to grow up some time!! I love you my Averi Jadyn!!!!

To my best friend Jenny….

It’s someones 5th wedding anniversary on Aug. 30th that I love very much! Jenny and Brandon! These two people are one of my favorite people ever! And yes of course little Elodie Hope is my favorite too! Elodie is so adorable! Oh my gosh she is too sweet! She is 5 in a half months old and beautiful just like her mommy! The cool thing about being friends with my Jenny just a few months back was that we were pregnant together. We ended up having our babies 1 month and 1 day apart from each other! I remember calling Jenny while still pregnant and we were having all of the same feelings! Discomfort, irritability, emotional, the whole nine yards! It was so good to know that I was not the only one experiencing that kind of stuff! We used to bump bellies every time we saw each other. Our girls were already BFF’s before they were born. My favorite thing about Jenny is all of her. You really can’t just pick one little thing out about her that is better than the rest. She is bubbly all the time, she laughs at everything (especially at her own jokes!), she is so encouraging, she can have a serious conversation at any moment, She is the most stylish person I have ever met, She is gorgeous inside and absolutely gorgeous on the outside. I love my Jenny. She calls me everyday in her “pumping room” at work! I love it when she calls! It’s one of the highlights of my day! One thing that has always made me feel so good is that she has never made me feel like a little girl that knows nothing because I am so young. Which I am not that young! Anyways, even before I was married, before I had my Averi, she still never treated me like I was a younger than her. Thank you Jenny. I love being with Jenny. We share a lot of the same loves in life. We love our babies, we love to shop, we love talking on the phone together, we lovemaking things for our babies, we love clothes and shoes, we love the Lord, we love our husbands, and tons more! But the one thing that we do not share the same interest in is food. It is very rare for us to like the same food! She is so picky! No just kidding, that’s me. There are not too many foods out there that I like, where as for Jenny there are not too many foods out there that she doesn’t like! But that keeps it fun! You know the usual joke about Jovan not liking some kind of food usually pops into conversation at least once a day! Jenny is a hoot! She really is one of the most amazing people you will ever meet! I know that she has changed my family and I’s life forever! I love you Jenny! You are my BFF!

Averi is growing every moment of everyday!!! She is getting more and more beautiful every time I look at her!!! So her latest thing to do is say dada and momma!!! It kills me! She said dada first when she was about 5 in a half months and momma at 6 mos and a few days old! It just melts my heart! I just want to eat her up! My little ladybug! I love you my sweets!

Just me and Averi

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE being able to stay at home with my little ladybug Averi! I am truly blessed in many ways to be at home with her! I spend hours and hours playing with my baby girl! I amtrying my best to take in every single moment with her! Even when it can get a little overwhelming sometimes to be with her 24~7 I still can’t get enough of her. She brightens my day. Ah, time flys though when your having fun! Everyone always told me that, but I never really believed them until I had a baby of my own! I just wish that time could just stand still for a while so that Averi could stay a little baby for longer. I already miss her newborn stage. I feel like I never really soaked it all in. In my mind at the time I thought the newborn stage would last forever! I wished that she would just sleep through the night and not wake up every two hours. I wished while I was pregnant, that she would come sooner. I wished while I was in labor that it would go quicker. I wished that she would start gooing and talking faster. I wished that she would be a wake more often. Now I wish that I could have it all back. I would LOVE to be pregnant with her again, I would love to wake up every two hours in the middle of the night with her. I wish that I was at the hospital right now in labor, I wish I could watch her sleep more often. It’s really been hard for me to watch her grow up. Even though she is only 5 in a half months old. I now treasure every time she wakes up in the middle of the night for a feeding, even though it is only once. It will fly by and soon she won’t even be waking up to eat. So I love to wake up with her. She is such a sweetie. I am at the moment loving the stage she is in! She is a lot of fun to hang out with! I wouldn’t change her for anything! As much as I wish for the past, I am very excited for the future! I am just not going to rush it.
